Piano World asks for an email address to send the requested PDF score as an attachment. We record the address, requested score and date of sending to manage requests and show statistics to administrators. Named request details are deleted on the next use of the service after 90 days; only totals by score and day are retained. A valid address is needed to send the PDF; scores are not downloaded directly from the website. Addresses used only for this purpose are deleted on the next use of the service after 90 days. To limit abusive requests, the rate-limit log keeps hashes of the IP and email addresses, without storing those addresses in plain text. The hashes are deleted on the first new request after two days.

Email news

The signup box is optional and unchecked by default. If you select it, we also record when you did so and the version of the wording shown. You can withdraw your choice using the unsubscribe link in each message. This signup relies on your consent. If you do not renew your choice, it expires after three years. We do not share your address with advertisers.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your address and withdraw from email news. To exercise these rights, write to support@piano.world. We will verify that you own the address before handling the request. If you believe your data protection rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.

Only Piano World administrators can access the addresses; OVHcloud hosts the PDFs and database on the site's server. The illustrated email loads an image from piano.world that is the same for every recipient and has no tracking identifier. Site analytics have a separate consent prompt during your visit.
